The LA Times has announced its list of finalists for their annual book awards. While I'm pleased to see David Mitchell's Black Swan Green on the list and even happier to see that M.T. Anderson's The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing made the cut for Young Adult Fiction, I find the fiction list lacking quite a bit. You?
