It seems quite unfair to me that on the very same night that The Jesus and Mary Chain are playing their super-secret (but how secret, if I know?) before-Coachella reunion show, Steven Hall will be reading from The Raw Shark Texts at Skylight Books. A damn shame, I tell you. Since I've already got the JAMC tickets and since I have to leave approximately...now...if I ever hope to get to Pomona by 7pm, I'll throw it out there: anyone in LA going to attend the Hall reading? If so, let me know. I've got to find out what I'll miss. If no, why the hell not? You must, you must, you simply must.
