Cecil Castellucci is extraordinary. Today at 5pm, you have the chance to mingle with such greatness. Skylight Books is hosting the launch of Cecil's two (yes, that's right two) new YA books: Beige (novel set in LA) & The Plain Janes (the first in a line of graphic novels for teen girls). While I don't typically go in for YA titles, I can't say enough good things about Castellucci's work.
I've not yet met her -- only seen her from atop a stage while being asked ridiculous questions by an over-zealous audience member during the LA Times Festival of Books (it sounded awful, Cecil, but you handled it so well!) Go. Mingle. Celebrate the fact that this woman has completed two books at the same time, which will give you no excuses (not a single valid one that I can think of) when you sit down to finish your measly one book!
