Issue 9 of The Quarterly Conversation is up and oh boy is it a good one. You've got Anne Fernald discussing Jean Thompson's Throw Like A Girl (which I loved), Antoine Wilson reviewing Tom McCarthy's Remainder (which I uber-loved), Matthew Cheney reviewing Rick Moody's Right Livelihoods (which I loved less) and a whole host of other excellent writers reviewing and discussing work I've not yet read. And oh looky there -- it's me. Reviewing Jon McGregor's So Many Ways to Begin (which I so, so, so wanted to love and which...I just...didn't.) It's lovely to be in such good company and I'm honored that the venerable Mr. Scott Esposito gave me a chance to play with the adults. It all makes for very good reading so please do check it out.
