Zach Behrens, longtime LAist contributor and co-editor, will replace Tony Pierce as the editor of LAist. Good news all around.
Zach has been focused on metroblogging in the best sense - local stories, local issues, local concerns. He's also been the de-facto "green guy" at LAist, as well as the de-facto classical music guy and de-facto theatre guy. That's a lot of "de-factos" in addition to everything else he's been writing for the past two years!
It will be great to have him at the helm and I look forward to seeing how LAist may evolve under his leadership.
