My life is in a constant state of insane and I'm working crazy hours. What does this mean? It means no blogging, no book reading, no author events and certainly no author interviews. Sad for me - but does not have to be sad for you as my venerable LAist colleagues are mightily picking up my slack. Case in point: Junot Diaz in the house.
Carrie Meatherell and Osmany Rodriguez held court with Diaz only a few short days before the Pulitzer Prizes were announced. Talk about timing! It's a great interview and demonstrates the intense love of life that makes Diaz a favorite writer to read, to watch, to listen to.
Please go on over and take a peek. It will be well worth your time and is far, far better than anything you've read here in weeks. Really.
(And for those of you kind enough to inquire about my well-being via email - thank you! I've got a warm-up post ready for tomorrow and come Monday, I'll be back in the saddle!)
