Today at 4pm, Skylight Books is kicking off a very cool thing - Skylight Salon. There will be wine, there will be cheese, there will be hors d'oeuvres of various sorts. More to the point: the oh so smart staff at Skylight Books will be sharing their favorite books from small presses and independent publishers.
While this is only the first in a hopefully very long series of salons, this first gathering features some of my favorites: Archipelago Books, Dzanc Books and Red Hen Press.
I came to this news very late in the game (last night at 8pm - still working on those "only blog when the writing is done" rules), so I'm trying to shuffle a few things to make it out there. You should too as it promises to be excellent.
Plus, we don't want Skylight Books to get the idea that the Skylight Salon isn't a popular offering and stop offering it...right?
