So - you've clawed your way through The Instructions and now you want to talk about it. Or - you're somewhere in the middle but have stuff you want to talk about already. What to do? Where to begin?
What now?
We could tackle this in a number of different ways - we could start with style, with voice, with tone. We could delve quickly into narrative and plot and character. We could dissect the absolute need for the length of the book and how that served/didn't serve the story. We could break it up into sections. Into chapters. Into themes.
What most interests me though, and what has worked for all of my favorite roundtable discussions in the past, is finding out what interested YOU the most and what you are most passionate about sharing, dissecting, taking apart, putting back together, musing over.
So tell me readers that are ready to roundtable: where would you like to start? I'll have some nudges along the way and I'm sure that each beginning will start another conversation and another beginning, but I want to be sure we capture all the opinionated fire you've got in your bellies before the fire fades.
Consider this open season on this roundtable discussion. If you'd like to contribute a post (or two or five), leave a comment with a hint of where you want to start and we'll get this going properly.
